Back from the international exhibition dedicated to new technologies and industry Vivatech, which was held from May 16 to 18 in Paris, VULKAM reviews its participation under a regional pavilion.
Thursday, May 16, meeting with two delegations of foreign companies
We discover the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional pavilion, meet the 16 other startups present and take possession of the premises. There are already many visitors, and the exchanges promise to be rich!
A first pitch on the Franco-German space of the industry of the future allows us to meet industrial actors from across the Rhine.
We then welcomed a delegation of European companies as part of the French Innovation Tour organized by the CCI Paris IDF in partnership with the EEN network.
Many contacts with industrialists are established throughout the day. The quality of the parts presented as well as their precision and the scope of industrial applications are noticed by our visitors.
Friday, May 17, ministerial visits and pitch on the main startup stage
This second day was marked by the visit of two government representatives:
- Early in the morning, the Secretary of State for Digital Technologies, Cedric O, honored us with his visit to the Vulkam_metal booth to discover and test the properties of the #Vulkalloys. The industrial applications of the Vulkalloys as well as the territorial anchoring of the startup were the main themes of this long exchange, led by Juliette Jarry, Digital Vice-President of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, whom we thank for her dynamism at all times!
- At the end of the morning, it was the Secretary General for Investment Guillaume Boudy (General Secretariat for Investment) who discovered Vulkam. We are honored to have introduced you to our innovative metals and processes!
At the end of the day, the “Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Pitch Contest” took place on the JCDecaux pitch stage.
Another opportunity for Sébastien Gravier, President and founder of VULKAM to present our innovation, and the only difference between a diamond and a graphite pencil lead… The warm welcome and attentive audience made this pitch a success!
Finally, and as a second-day red wire, a large number of qualified and interesting contacts from industry came to learn more about VULKAM technology and to consider ways of collaborating. A real success!
Saturday, May 18, a day dedicated to the general public, the demonstration is in full swing
This third and last day at Vivatech was a little special, since the doors were open to the general public. Rather atypical visitors for us, but a nice interest nevertheless. The demonstration of the ability to release elastic energy (the famous bead bouncing machine!) worked at full speed all day long.
The conclusion of these three days of tech trade show is totally positive! Visibility thanks to the very beautiful regional stand, political meetings that will certainly count in the coming months, and about fifty qualified contacts of industrialists, sometimes surprised, often impressed by the unique shaping capabilities of the “vulkalloys”, the VULKAM metal alloys.
